Donations & Fund Drives

Donations are accepted online at www.DonateToAbingdonFC.com 

Aside from accepting contributions online, we mail two fund drive requests per year.  It is with the community's financial help that we keep our personnel trained, the equipment in good condition and ready to go at a moments notice.

The "Fire Fund Drive" is mailed during the month of February with reminders mailed out two months later.  These donations go into our general fund to support the Abingdon Fire Company building,  equipment, supplies, and provide training to our volunteers.

The "Ambulance Club" donation forms are mailed in August.  These donations support the emergency medical services of our organization. It helps pay for the upkeep of our ambulances, supplies, equipment, and fuel for the ambulances, and provides training to our volunteers.

If you make a donation to the Ambulance Club and we have to transport you to a hospital, we are required to invoice your insurance company. Any portion that the insurance does not cover will be waived by us if you are an "Ambulance Club" donor.  The Ambulance Club donations are $35 per individual, $40 per couple, and $50 to cover a household.
